   They are called Jeep Wranglers.
   The hard top is an option available for all wrangler models.

   On jeep wranglers, you can actually remove the soft top and put a hard top on. You can do that with any wrangler

   Both the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited can be had with either the soft top, hard top and dual top options.

   For 2009 the SunRider Soft Top is standard on the X, Sahara and Rubicon. The SunRider can be opened part way to make a sunroof or folded all the way back convertible style.

   The Freedom Top is an option on all three version. It is a three piece hard top. Two smaller panels over the driver and front passenger are removable similar to a targa or t-top. The rear can be removed by unscrewing the bolts.

   Dual Top is the last factory option and it’s just an option that includes both the hard top and soft top. Although they are shipped and delivered together, you are only supposed to use one at one time.

   There are several aftermarket tops available to in both soft and hard variations like the Bikini or Hard Tonneau.

   All Wranglers come with the option to have either a hard top or soft top on them. If you get one with a hard top, you can go out a buy a soft top, if you have one with a soft top you can go out and buy a hard top. Sometimes you can even get them with both tops, just depends on whether that is being offered when the Jeep is for sale.

   I have both a hard top and a soft top. I put the hard top on in the winter and use the soft top in the summer. You can also get what is called bikini tops, safari bikini tops, sunrider tops, etc. There is a whole bunch of different types of tops you can put on a Wrangler. There is no specific name for a Jeep Wrangler with a hard top other than “This Jeep comes with a hard top”.

   All Wranglers have the interchangeable top system. So if you want a hard top, you have to look for a Jeep that is being sold with a hard top. If you want a Jeep with a soft top, you have to look for one that is being sold with a soft top. If you want both, you have to look for one that is being sold with both, or purchase one with either top and go to someplace like http://www.quadratec.com and purchase the other top.
